We Cover the Basics
Rent at University Commons includes nearly all essential living expenses for your student. The only separate utility they'll need to manage is electricity. Each apartment is individually metered and equipped with its own circuit breaker. Prior to move-in, our team will provide clear instructions on how to set up an electricity account with Green Mountain Power.
On-site Professional Management and Maintenance Staff
University Commons offers on-site property management and a maintenance team who are experienced and skilled in addressing your student's needs. Our team provides residents with an independent living experience that doesn't compromise a hands-on approach to property management or responsive service to resident concerns.
Individual Lease Liability
University Commons offers individual leases for each tenant, regardless of apartment occupancy. Your student will only be responsible for the rent for their bedroom in their apartment and you will only sign a guarantor form for their lease. This helps us give our residents and their families the peace of mind of knowing they will be not responsible for the financial obligations of other roommates.
Transportation
Getting between Catamount Run and the UVM Campus is simple and convenient for your student. Market Street has two Green Mountain Transit bus stops at the corner of Garden Street and on the corner of Allard Square by the public Library. These stops are served by the #1 Williston Bus and the #11 City Connector Bus. The bus runs 7 days a week, Monday through Sunday, providing frequent service with operating times starting at 6:00 am. Pay Rent Easily
Our secure online payment portal allows residents or their guarantors to easily pay rent and parking fees (if applicable). The portal also offers the option to set up convenient, automatic monthly payments for added peace of mind.
